This course is taught by Karen Woodrum, RN. Ms. Woodrum has been a nurse for 25 years and brings with her a broad range of experience.

She has been an instructor at Coastal Community College in Jacksonville, where she taught CNA I and CNA II classes as well as Medication Aide.

Ms. Woodrum has worked locally as a Home Health and Hospice nurse and as a nursing supervisor in a Skilled Nursing facility.

She is currently the Nursing Supervisor for a Home Care agency that covers Onslow, Carteret, Craven, and Pamlico counties.
